Seeing how much my gardening benefited my local community, I wondered if I could turn my passion into a profession. In 2017, I founded Sapling Farms with the mission to grow produce using organic principles. While the journey has not been easy, I continue to learn and incorporate better farming practices, not just for our own health but also the earth’s. I now grow a wide variety of crops year-round, including many of the nutritious Indian greens and gourds I grew up with, and offer them for sale at various farmers markets in the DFW metroplex. For veggie lovers, we even offer a weekly, customizable CSA box, where members get first-pick from our harvest. Farming and bringing my produce to the community has been an amazing experience, and I would like to thank you all for welcoming Sapling Farms with open arms.
